Welcome to the Fringes of Nonfiction
Hello, and welcome to Fringes of Nonfiction, a blog that corresponds with our ENGL 412/612 class. Each week you will be asked to craft and post a 300-500 word response that directly relates to our assigned reading(s), including the techniques employed and how you might use similar techniques in your own work. Each week one of you will LEAD the blog by posting as a "New Post" by Wednesday at noon. Then, the rest of us will respond as a "New Post". Since each of you will be writing "New Posts" rather than posting as "Comments" we have some unique capabilities. Feel free to share links, upload appropriate and relevant photos, etc. Writing a post is the bare minimum and will be viewed as such. (I mean, the class title is "Fringes of Nonfiction," after all, so let's at least delve a little bit into new media--even if blogs aren't exactly all that new anymore...)
